About
How this guide is made
Certified only
A restaurant, café or shop is listed only when we can name the body that certifies it and the level (meat, dairy, pareve, Chalav Yisrael and so on). "Kosher-style", "Jewish-style" and "no pork" places are never listed.
Checked, then dated
Each country shows the month it was last checked. Places we could not confirm for this season carry a Check locally tag. Places that closed or lost their hechsher are removed.
Menus, hours and prices
Menu buttons open the restaurant's own menu. We don't type menus, prices or hours from memory; if we don't know, we leave it out.
Eruvin
An eruv is described as up only when a local source confirms it this year. Always check the eruv hotline or local rav before Shabbos.
Ask your rav
This guide tells you who certifies a place. Whether that certification meets your standard is a question for your rav.
